Welcome to the new ABAA.org. We hope you'll find it an exciting environment to list and sell your books, advertise your businesses, and find and share information about the world of rare books. The site is packed with new features and possibilities. Many of these features are there to emphasize your individual businesses. Throughout, the booksellers are front and center, giving the consumer more info about the seller on the item pages, more details and options on the bookseller pages, and a richer sense of what booksellers are up to on the blog and through various social media aspects.
By logging into your bookseller account, you will see a helpful scrim (grey page) that will help you optimize your use of the site, with details about editing your profile, getting your books listed, and offering discounts to other ABAA dealers through the site. Editing your profile has never been easier, and now you can include a shop photo, business logo and a third image (perhaps your own handsome face).
In these last ten or so days before the site goes live to the public, Biblio, Bibliopolis and the Internet Committee are still working to fix bugs, identify problems and improve some of the content. You may run into a broken link, or an odd bug or some other issue. You can help us make the site as good as possible by reporting these issues directly to the following email address, and nowhere else:

In the immediate term, we will be working to address the bug reports, and later work our way through the comments. We thank you for your helpful feedback.
Over the next few months, we will be offering tips and tricks for best using the site, including procedures for using categories, uploading pictures, using social media with the site, and more. Those posts will appear inside the bookseller's control panel, easy to find, but not accessible to the general public. Other information will appear there too - announcements of bookfair sign ups, events for booksellers or other news just for members.
