Out of print and increasingly scarce, one of the principal references on Utah photography. Not only does the book cover the building of the Mormon Temple in detail, but Wadsworth has written an excellent overview of pioneer photography in Utah, including chapters on C.R. Savage, Marsena Cannon, James Crockwell, Edward Martin, C.W. Carter, George Edward Anderson, C.W. Symons, the Shiplers and more.
