The spine ends and corners of the covers are gently bumped, there are a couple of small stains on the top edge of the text block, and there is a bookseller's ink stamp on the front free endpaper. In a dust jacket, with light staining, and a number of small closed and open tears in the edges. The deepest tear is thin, and measures 1" deep. There are also several brief notations in blind on the front panel, due to the book having been used as a writing surface. Signed by Leonard Arrington on the title page.
