Wildwood, New Jersey, 1964. Softcover. Very Good. Quarto. Clasp bound blue notebook. A very good notebook with modest waviness, edgwear, and a little slight mustiness. A notebook containing photo mechanically reproduced pages of the program for the 1964 Miss New Jersey pageant in Wildwood, New Jersey. The book, which was presumably used behind the scenes, includes bios of the judges, a list of the 21 contestants, and page long descriptions titled "information sheets" describing of all of the contestants featuring their measurements, hobbies, talent, and why they entered the contest. Miss Gloucester County's talent is listed as "musical routine and parallel bars" while her pet peeves is "sloppiness." Miss Hudson County listed her hobbies as "reading, sewing, twirling, music and write poetry, dancing." Under why they joined the pageant many of the women said for the experience, scholarship, meeting new people, or making their parents proud.

A nice look at a 1960s beauty pageant.
