Good. 520pp. Octavo [24 cm] 3/4 black leather with black pebbled cloth covered boards. Title gilt stamped on the front board and backstrip. The extremities are rubbed, and the spine is heavily rolled. There is a small chip to the surface of the backstrip, obscuring a bit of the title. In addition, a little bit of the gilt title on the front cover has been rubbed away. There is a contemporary owner's name and brief notation on the front flyleaf. The illustrations are lightly offset on the surrounding pages. Frontispieces Heber C. Kimball and his wife Vilate are present. The Joseph and Hyrum Smith portraits are also present at the center.
