The volumes consisted largely of photographs accompanied by contextual and interpretive commentary. Some books exclusively devoted pages to images of Midway Plaisance while others presented a more comprehensive documentation of the "White City", as the fair was known. Interior and exterior views. Glimpses into life around the world as seen through the eyes of the fair. Each measures 7 3/4" x 11" No. 7 lacking cover. Some covers detached, but present and with edge chips.
