Philadelphia, 1895. unbound. near fine. 2 pages, 6 x 4 inches, Hotel Albert (Philadelphia), no date, circa 1895, in part: "...I had forgotten when I accepted your invitation for tonight that I had agreed to be at home to see Mr. Justus Sheffield who is in from the Harvard Law School for vacation. It occurred to me...that he has mentioned you as acquaintances or friends and if this be so...may I bring him, to thus keep both pleasures..." One horizontal fold; near fine condition.
