In a nonspecific, Communist-occupied country in Central Europe during the Cold War, a group of military police arrest a woman they believe to be a spy. She maintains her innocence, yet still she has an interesting alibi, married an artist three days before and finding him dead and speaks English with a Magyar accent, despite an "English" upbringing.

Set in Central Europe.
