By Harold MacGrath
Chicago: Jamieson-Higgins, 1900. Early Printing. Quarter Leather. Very Good binding. An early and quite uncommon imprint of the popular novelist's first novel. First printed in 1899 by Doubleday [Wright III, 3518], this issued the following year. Of this printing, we find a single holding on OCLC. Bound in quarter black morocco over black cloth, with some wear at the joints. The paper has yellowed and is a bit brittle. There is a previous owner blindstamp on the first blank leaf.
