Washington, DC: Peace Papers, 1960. Vintage two-color antiwar poster likely dating from the late 1960s, featuring a repeated image of a green sweater covered in pins that tout antinuclear proliferation and antiwar slogans.

From the estate of McKendree Spring violinist Michael Dreyfuss, who in 1936 as a child fled the Nazis, likely contributing to this later antiwar sentiment. Dreyfuss pioneered the use of violins distorted by electronic and analog synthesizers, counting synthesizer inventor Robert Moog amongst his close friends, and McKendree Spring largely became known for the experimental sound that he helped craft. McKendree Spring's most noted work includes "God Bless the Conspiracy," "Spring Suite," and their covers of James Taylor's "Fire and Rain," and Neil Young's "Down By the River."

25 x 38 inches, folded. Near Fine.
