The Ladies' Home Journal --November 1901 (Cover of a Woman Golfer)
- Original wraps
- Philadelphia: The Curtis Publishing Co, 1901
Philadelphia: The Curtis Publishing Co, 1901. Original wraps. Near Fine. Wonderful cover design by Thomas Mitchell Peirce, a full-page etching of a woman golfer in mid-swing and in full regalia (hat, cape, blouse and skirt down to her feet). An unusually crisp copy to boot of the November 1901 issue. Clean and Near Fine in its pictorial wrappers, with very light creasing --and subtle, evenly-applied light-tape re-inforcement-- along the spine. Folio, magazine-formatted, magnificent period ads thruout in addition to articles such as "The Foremost Women Photographers", "The Way It Is Done in Washington Society" and "The Beginning of Married Life". A handsome, very presentable copy.
