The folding map, a facsimile of the iconic early map of Virginia, has a closed tear to the right edge near its attachment, repaired with paper tape; beginnings of separation to the edges of the folds. Water damage to the boards; some dampstaining to the fore edge of the textblock. Brown cloth with beveled edges; lettering and devices stamped in gilt on the spine. Fair binding.
