The pages have yellow borders. "Patent Applied For" label at head of title page. The extremities are a bit soiled and rubbed, there is a contemporary gift inscription on the front free endpaper, and the rear endpaper is split along the hinge. A utopian novel, and one of the many responses and sequels to Bellamy's novel "Looking Backward.
