A mimeographed student magazine, featuring a variety of illustrated essays and articles written entirely in French by students at the Hunter College High School “for Intellectually Gifted Young Ladies”. Quarto (9” x 12”). 30 mimeographed leaves in stapled color-stenciled wraps. A few tiny chips and tears, in very good condition. The issue includes full page illustrations and 52 numbered pages of contributions, most illustrated with decorated initials and/or sketches. The contributions include reflections on the war and relations between France and the United States, social life at Hunter College and New York City, and various personal reflections on Jazz, men, melancholy, etc. A scarce survival.
