After a breakup, Helene Masson (Annie Girardot) takes her vacation at a rejuvenation clinic run by Dr. Devilers (Alain Delon) and his partner Dr. Berbard (Michel Duchausso) to prevent aging. Although the treatment helps Helene feel well, she is disgusted when she realizes the disturbing source of the revitalizing formula.
