Octavo; 373pp. Printed photo-portrait dust jacket with original $12.50 price; book in beige cloth-covered boards with red and black lettering to spine. Jacket toned along edges and down spine, with a light paperclip imprint at top center. Boards lightly bumped at corners and spine ends, with a slight lean to spine. Binding is sound and pages unmarked.

Brandt was leader of Germany's Social Democrat Party and Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, resigning in 1974 after a spy scandal.
