Vertical tear down length of half title, missing previous owner's bookplate attached at top, with separated portion laid in. Pages 179-182 cleanly separated by laid in, with no apparent missing pages after. Newspaper clippings neatly attached to front pastedown, with gift inscription opposite on front free endpaper. Another lengthy pencil writeup on verso of front free endpaper explaining how the previous owner's family [presumed] knew the grandfather and family of the authors.
