Paris and New York: Editiones Officinae Bodoni, At the Sign of Pegasus, 1929. Limited Edition. Hardcover. Very good. 80pp. Quarto [30.5 cm] Tan cloth over boards with gilt titling to the spine and gilt Bodoni logo on the front cover. No dust jacket. The spine is a bit darkened, and there is periodic offsetting throughout the book (often from the illustrations, but very occasionally from things having been laid in). The text block is cracked several times, however the book is still very sturdy. With twelve woodcut illustrations by Frans Masereel, which illustrate how a book is made. All woodcuts, tipped-in plates, and specimens still present. Number 165 of 500 copies.
