Parchment cream jackets lettered in black and red. Burgundy boards with off-white spine labels, stamped in black. Gray textblock topstain. Entirely in German.

Schriften I jacket a bit tattered at corners and spine crown and foot; jacket spine tanned and slightly soiled. Jackets of other two volumes fine, as new. Bindings of all three volumes fine, as new. Schriften I has previous owner's initials in ink on front free endpaper. This is the only one of the three volumes that seems to have been used; textblocks of the other two volumes tight and seemingly never opened. All three textblocks unmarked and unmarred.

The most important of Wittgenstein's writings in the definitive German edition.
