A small album detailing production during the 1909 season at an apple orchard owned by the Colorado Farm and Live Stock Company in Olney, Colorado. The album begins with beautiful images of apple trees in full blossom followed by photos of the horse-drawn apple carts and farm workers. One of these carts features a primitive gear and pulley mechanism attached. Piles of piles are pictured beneath trees as well as empty crates ready to be filled. The trees themselves are seen in close-ups admiring the fully ripe apples. The rows of trees at the orchard are seen as well as workers posed with apples and in candids picking from trees. One of the photos shows two young boys picking apples, another shows workers posed with cut branches dripping with apples. The farmhands, both men and women, are seen assembling and stacking crates, setting up tents, and seated at a long table processing the fruit.

A wonderfully detailed account of the start to finish of apple season, its processes and workers, in a historic orchard in Colorado.
