Unbound. Near Fine. Panoramic sepia-toned gelatin silver photograph. 45.5" x 8". Small tear in right-hand margin repaired with a small piece of tape on the verso, else near fine. Photograph of nearly 200 uniformed men. In the Summer of 1916 President Woodrow Wilson asked the Governor to call out the Georgia National Guard due to an escalation in combat during the Mexican American Border War. Camp Harris, in Macon, Georgia was the principle mobilization center, before the troops were shipped off to the border.
