Also with a number of illustrations (including several maps). The rear wrap is partially detached, and there is a 1" loss from the paper at the head of the spine. There are a couple of brief markings to the verso of the front wrap, and on the preliminary page. Flake 8882 (other editions note). Flake points out that this work "Advocated 'establishment of Christian instruction of advanced grade' in Utah Territory to convert the Mormons, p. 35.
