Massachusetts, 1900. Hardcover. Very Good. Oblong small octavo measuring 7" x 5.5". Black cloth over stiff paper boards with "photographs" stamped in gilt on the front board. Contains 19 sepia-toned albumen photographs measuring between 2.5" x 3.5" and 4" x 4" without captions. Very good album with some loose pages and worn edges with near fine photographs. A nice collection of turn-of-the-century photography depicting a Massachusetts family. The photos show shoreline scenes with two small children playing on a beach, ships out to sea, and landscape views. There are portrait photographs of the family posed by their family home, with their dog, and one of a woman on a bicycle.

A modest but interesting collection of early photography.
