Moderate toning to text, somewhat heavier in places, light foxing to a few leaves, inkstain to foot of p. 199. $450. * Third edition. Zype was a canon lawyer and church official attached to the Bishop of Antwerp. First published in 1635, this useful and summary of the law of the Spanish Netherlands went through at least four more editions and issues into the eighteenth century. Topics include procedure and the law concerning commerce, marriage, the military and other topics. All editions are scarce. OCLC locates no copies of the third edition in North America.
