Each of the three dozen films highlighted is given a double-page spread, with credits, photos, and a brief synopsis in English, beneath which are short blurbs about the film in French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Included are a few bona fide classics -- A TASTE OF HONEY (Tony Richardson), ONLY TWO CAN PLAY (Sidney Gilliat, starring Peter Sellers), THE LONELINESS OF THE LONG DISTANCE RUNNER (Richardson) and THE INNOCENTS (Jack Clayton) -- along with quite a lot of forgettable (and forgotten) fare such as PETTICOAT PIRATES and WHAT A WHOPPER.
