Boards a bit scuffed and corners bumped, tiny chip to leather at fore-edge of Vol. I upper cover, spines a shade faded, else a Very Good, quite attractively bound set (binding unsigned). Slightly later (1864) gift inscription to Vol. I front free endpaper of a Charles Mayhew to a Charles Birch Reynardson.
