A verse account of woman's murder committed in Hanover, New Hampshire by a rejected suitor, Frank Almy. After the murder, he hid for a month in a barn. When he was eventually captured, the captors discovered that he was George Abbott, a fugitive who had escaped the New Hampshire State Prison while serving a term for burglary.
