From the collection of Italian conductor, vocal coach, and close associate of Puccini and Mascagni, Luigi Ricci (1893-1981); previously in the collection of Italian composer Francesco Maria Albini (1829-1917), with his inventory number to upper wrapper.
Handstamp "Cabinetto di Lettura Ancona" with initials "F.M" [?] to title.
Binding somewhat worn, rubbed, and bumped; spine faded; front free endpaper lacking; tape repairs to lower wrapper. Light foxing throughout, primarilky to blank margins. First Edition of this arrangement. Rare (no copies located outside Italy).
