1940. very good. Scarce signed photograph: "G.H. Whipple", black and white, paper stock, 8" X 10", a shoulder-up image of Dr. Whipple dressed in a laboratory coat and grasping a microscope, c. late 1940's. Minor foxing at the lower right-hand corner otherwise in very good condition.
