With autograph inscription in brown ink by the composer to Dr. Andrew J. Werner, signed in full and dated 21 August 1986. No other copies located. The composer's archive is held at Columbia University.

Turkish composer İlhan Mimaroğlu came to the United States to study at Columbia under Paul Henry Lang and Douglas Moore. He went on to study with Vladimir Ussachevsky as well as collaborating with Edgard Varèse and Stefan Wolpe. In connection with his electronic compositions, Mimaroğlu worked as a producer for Atlantic Records before forming his own label, Finnadar, in 1971.
