Binding unsigned. Limited to 130 sets for subscribers only, this set numbered 177 in all volumes. Volume 1 notes that this set was printed for A. Jaekel, with his name artistically painted in water color on the limitation page. Frontispieces are mezzotints by S. Arlent-Edwards, with printed tissue guards, in each volume, 62 plates in all. Near fine set, untrimmed sides a bit tanned/ browned. Internals fine. Covers quite nice, a few very minor abrasions here and there.
