A 7" x 5" heavy dark brown card stock frame with a fine mesh backing with an applied die-cut Manhattan Cocktail "floating" at the center of the frame. String tie hanger at top. Label on reverse reads "Mid-Air" Sign" Made by Livermore & Knight Co. Providence R.I. Patented July 13, 1909.... Starting in the early Pioneer Period, the early 1890s, the Livermore and Knight firm created some of the most innovative and creative advertising postcards ever printed. Between 1900 and 1910 they ventured into more novelty card lines.
