Wrappers worn and partially split; edges chipped; tape repairs to spine. Title slightly worn and foxed; small publisher's stamps to blank lower margin. The first of Strauss's operettas, La Reine Indigo was first performed in Vienna at the Theatre an der Wien on 10 February 10, 1871.
