US: Clasa-Mohme / Azteca Films, 1971. Collection of nearly 62 vintage Mexican lobby cards in 8 original envelopes, for 14 films released between 1955-1971. Included are lobby cards for 12 Mexican films or co-productions, and 2 international Spanish-language films released in Mexico—all of which were distributed by either Clasa-Mohme or Azteca Films.
Cards are full-color and universally bright, illustrated and/or photo-illustrated, each with a roughly 8 x 6.5 inch film still photograph tipped on (per its design). The number of lobby cards for each film varies between one and eight, and eleven of the sets have their original envelopes. The films represented include Westerns, comedies, horror, crime, adventure, and exploitation films.
Directors whose films are represented in the collection include Miguel Morayta, Rene Cardona, Miguel M. Delgado, Vincente Orona, Jaime Salvador, Benito Alazraki, Damian Acosta Esparza, and Alfredo B. Crevenna, while actors featured include Tom Tryon, Antonio Aguilar, Fernando Casanova, Alberto Vasquez, Ana Luisa Peluffo, Rodolfo de Anda, Julio Aleman, and Julissa.
