The Last Rivet

By ABBOTT, Berenice, Margaret Bourke White et al.
New York: Columbia University Press, 1940. First edition. Hardcover. 45 pages. The story behind the construction and building of Rockefeller Center in New York. Brief introduction by John D. Rockefeller. Text by Nelson A. Rockefeller. Includes black and white photographs by Berenice Abbott, Margaret Bourke-White, Brown Brothers, J. Walker Grimm, Fritz Henle, Wendell Macrae, Paul Woolf and others. A near fine copy with some very minor wear and from the library of New Topographics photographer Joe Deal with his rubber stamp to the second free endpaper in an about very good dust jacket with a number of chips and tears and wear. Still, a solid copy of this nicely printed and designed book that is fairly uncommon in the dust jacket and especially with an interesting provenance.
