Single issue of this scarce, short-lived Soviet propaganda monthly. Soviet Culture Bulletin appeared for only ten issues (most, like this one, being double issues) beginning and ceasing publication in 1931; it was a temporary replacement for the agency's regular propaganda organ, V.O.K.S. (which resumed publication later in 1931). The journal appeared in English, German, French, and Russian. VOKS (Vsesoi︠u︡znoe obshchestvo kulʹturnoĭ svi︠a︡zi s zagranit︠s︡eĭ; "Soviet Union Society for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries") was the propaganda arm of the Soviet Ministry of Culture.
