Van Dyke's 1936 "Rose Marie," and Robert Z. Leonard's 1937 "Maytime."

Eddy also had made more than 290 musical recordings between 1935 and 1964 ranging from his popular songs from films, to opera, folk songs, Gilbert and Sullivan, arias, and popular songs, drawing rave reviews during the 1930s and 1940s.
