Binding quite worn with long shallow exposure at extremities, joints cracked leaving front cover nearly separated, lacking front free endpaper; a Good only, albeit internally sound copy.

First appearance of the French academician's translation of Sallust's major histories, including that of Cataline and the Jugurthine War. Bilingual text, with French and Latin on facing pages. Uncommon institutionally, OCLC noting two copies in the United States as of March, 2021, at Berkeley and Akron.
