New York: Harper & Row, 1963. Pictorial boards. Near Fine/Very Good. James Stevenson. A WARM, HALF-PAGE INSCRIPTION FROM THE ILLUSTRATOR JAMES STEVENSON (WITH AN ORIGINAL DRAWING BY HIM BELOW THE INSCRIPTION) on the front free endpaper. A very solid copy to boot of the 1963 stated 1st edition. Tight and Near Fine in a crisp, price-clipped, VG dustjacket, with light offsetting along the front panel (where, it appears, a book had laid for a number of years). Quarto, wonderfully illustrated thoughout by James Stevenson, one of the great post-War "New Yorker" illustrators.
