These pamphlets were commissioned by the Governor, Charles C. Stratton to investigate charges against individuals that may have been involved. Two ships mentioned are the Pioneer which wrecked off Sandy Hook, and the John Minturn near the Squan Inlet. Perhaps some of the more important details are in the supporting documents.
