Relates to the controversy concerning control of the North-River Bank between the early American financier, banker and stock trader Jacob Barker and the Director of the Bank David Rogers, with Barker being convicted in court of challenging Rogers to a duel after Rogers had slandered him at the Coffee-House. The pamphlet was privately-published by Barker in an attempt to clear his name and save the value of the bank stock for his creditors.

Scarce, with OCLC recording a single extant example at the New York Historical Society. Not in Sabin, Howes or other usual references.
