Wrappers worn and quite chipped; small rectangular label to upper margin of upper; significant loss to lower wrapper; spine torn with loss. Occasional minor wear and foxing; several small tears; final leaves partially detached. Second version.

First performed in Paris at the Théatre des Bouffes-Parisiens on 3 October 1877, under the direction of Ch. Comte.
