This publication is distinguished for its elegant and evocative wood engravings, which depicted a variety of scenes in the life of two young boys. OCLC locates only two copies, with an additional copy at the Met. 5'' x 3.25''. Original stiff black-and-white pictorial wrappers, saddle-stitched. 11 black-and-white engavings. 36 pages. Some patches of loss to front design and spine of wrapper; a bit of edgewear and bumping. Light soiling to a few leaves at the beginning and ending. Sound and tight.
