Both volumes straight and clean, very Near Fine; jacket on v.2 is toned and brittle, with splits at folds; slipcase with slight wear at joints; Very Good. A very nice set overall. Inscribed to the prominent Virginia minister, educator and antiquary Churchill Gibson Chamberlayne, founder of St. Christopher's School in Richmond.
