New York: Crusade Against Hunger, 1970. Original illustrated poster, offset printed in colors on white stock, measuring 43.25cm x 56cm (ca.17" x 22"). Two old folds smoothed-out, light wear and handling, with adhesive staining to corners on verso (with some residual bleed-through); Very Good. An early promotional poster for National School Lunch Week, established by John F. Kennedy in 1962 in an effort to "promote the importance of a healthy school lunch in a child's life and the impact it has inside and outside the classroom" (School Nutrition Association). The artwork (sadly uncredited) features a stylized child, holding fork and knife aloft in front of a plate of food. Not separately listed in OCLC.
