Edinburgh: Fraser & Co, 1834. Boards. Very Good -. The 1834 1st edition, Vol. II only. Tight and VG- to VG in its purple boards, with pronounced offsetting to the rear panel, light offsetting along the front panel's fore-edge and uniform fading at the spine. The text, while complete, shows errors in pagination and was misbound by the publisher. Still though, eminently readable and easy to follow. Edited by Sir Thomas Dick Lauder, a number of high-quality full-page etchings.
