A LOVELY, LONG, YEAR-OF-PUBLICATION INSCRIPTION FROM ZERO MOSTEL TO NOTED CHILDREN'S (AND SPECIFICALLY SESAME STREET) ILLUSTRATOR MICHAEL SMOLLIN on the 2nd blank endpaper. A very sharp copy to boot of the 1974 1st edition. Clean and VG+ to Near Fine in its wonderful pictorial boards. Very light creasing along the foot of the spine and the lower-tips, very slight, subtle leaning to the spine. The photography, which captures Zero Mostel in every conceivable pose, by Sheldon Secunda, the book design by Nicole Sekora-Mendoza.
