Sheets are fragile. 16 pp. + 16 pp. Supplement listing most recnt members by name and city. The catalogue for 1848, which begins on page 5, lists 115 works to be distributed. Included among these works is the Voyage of Life by Thomas Cole item 100, four paintings as one lot, (later distributed to Brodt of Binghampton, NY) as well as one other work by Cole. Additionally, there are 42 additional works (discontinuously numbered 166-276) being hung in the gallery which "are the property of individuals, and have been placed in the Gallery for the gratification of the friends of Art." Many of these loaned works give the present owners' name.
