Very good +/very good. 328pp. Octavo [20.5 cm] Bright green cloth covered boards with black ink stamped titles on the spine and front cover, and red and black ink decorative patterns on the front board. The extremities are lightly rubbed, and the pages are tanned. In an attractive dust jacket, with periodic small closed tears and chips to the edges, several of which have been neatly backed with tape. The jacket presents quite well. Will James won the Newbery Medal for literature in 1926 for Smoky.
