Bayley published "editions and issues of Tans'ur's The Royal Melody Complete, Williams's Universal Psalmodist and Tansur-Williams-Bayley's The American Harmony that appeared in New England between 1767 and 1774, thereby creating a major bibliographic tangle. Because some of the same engraved plates were used for every issue of the three related works, the three must be described together.
